Because these units are larger and more residential in use, the final cost can include more site-side work. Any unit over 120 sq ft requires a building permit with the local authority. We take care of the building permit as a factory-built unit, while the buyer handles permits for foundation, grading, drainage, and site utilities.

What The Unit Price Covers

The starting price is tied to the unit itself. That is the part we manufacture before delivery.

Our process is factory-based. Buyers configure a Backyard Studio, ADU, tiny home, or home, and then we print and prefabricate the unit. We manufacture our units in Los Angeles, CA.

For units larger than 120 sq ft, we design them with connections for electricity, water, and sewer. Units under 120 sq ft are wired for electrical only. Plumbing and electrical are completed inside the unit before delivery, and exterior connections are prepared for site hookup.
